I would rather be a peasant to the queen than have you as an equal to me.
You mean you wouldn't want to be a Hindifacist and raving lunatic racist like COW?

Nobody cares
I'm English and I am in favour of abolishing the monarchy. So obviously the brainwashing is not that effective.
Royal Wedding to Cost British Economy $10 Billion

So apparently this wedding will "have a lasting negative impact on GDP" and "will knock a quarter of a percentage point off second-quarter GDP growth."
I wonder if the monarchy will be sent a bill for $10 billion. Oh wait, the people will just be asked to live in more austerity while the royals will celebrate the ingrained peasant culture.
Completely and utterly wrong.
With that said, I don't give a crap myself.
Yeah, I just saw some random interviews of British people on the streets of London and they're freaking out. One of them was even talking about how the royal inbred is marrying a 'commoner.' Really? A commoner? I mean, I realize that the UK is becoming more and more irrelevant every day, but at least have enough self esteem to get past the whole peasant-commoner crap.
I find it all quaint and amusing.
The reality is the "royals" wield no power. The PM would just tell her to get fucked if she tried to influence anything of importance. The people are hardly "peasants".
Caste purity on the other hand... must be maintained..
aah.. the British Monarchy... what a wonderful family..
I wonder if the tiara Kate is wearing contains the jewels stolen from India such as the Kohinoor or may be Elizabeth will keep that close to her "head"?
Funny that William is marrying a plebeian instead of a noble... tsk tsk...precisely why CLASS system is absolute SHIT..
Caste purity on the other hand... must be maintained..
No. Nobody is making you watch them. I did sleep through it. I wish I'd DVRed it, TBH. I am not one to follow the royal family. I always ignore that coverage, but seeing that wedding as broadcast on US networks would be something I'd give a chance. Well, I'll get a chance to check out recaps. All I can say after an endless building up of hype about the royal wedding, is that I will only get happier when the whole damn thing is over.
With any luck I will sleep through the event, but even then we will have to endure endless replays, before it finally fades from world news.
"Be careful what you wish for, you may get it."Will any of you be watching?
Me? I would rather spend that time out in the garage beating my thumb with a three pound hammer. So, NO!
Americans are in love with blind luck. Look at all the people who play the lotteries. Entitlement is well and good, you better believe it, but people are enamored with folks who are just plain blessed and lucky.Merit plays no part with the "royals", only who your father, mother or spouse is.

Please post the pics of Kate in a bikini. I haven't seen these yet.
As for the wedding, I'm ashamed such a thing exists and is so popular (at least here in Canada). How Canadians can support such a display of elitism is beyond me. Just look at the difference between Obama and the Royal Family (as heads of state). Who would you rather have as the leader of your country? Who has actually had to face challenges in their lives?
