Exactly. Him and CanOWorms both have major inferiourity complexes. That's why they're always trying to compare their shithole culture with ours, hence all the bullshit 'Royalty is a caste system' crap.

It's fun to watch them scream though, particularly when they start making up words. "peasantdom" was my favourite, if you google it, this thread comes up

I also read that you were Indian.

Well, I don't really care one way or the other. Feel free to pretend that I'm Indian. I don't really find that degrading whatsoever. However, it makes sense how you would find that to be degrading since you're a racist.

lol, I'm ethnically Indian, but not Indian. It's a shit country. It's not my country despite your insistent racist attacks claiming that it is.

Royalty is indeed a caste system and needs to be abolished. It's amazing how dirt poort developing countries are much more socially advanced than the UK in this respect.

Lots of people in Europe believe in racial impurities among non-whites, so it's an insult there.

Mandating that a political position must belong to a white Anglican is discrimination.

Pointing out that one position comes with another isn't discrimination.

I'm not claiming it, I'm just saying I've read that before here aswell :hmm:

I'm not a racist, but you are a xenophobe.

LOL.

Yeah, the UK has a crazy caste system! People are always being denied a job because of their caste. And they can't marry who they want because they're a different caste!

Hahahaha.

There's ONE job a commoner cant have and that's being the Head of State.

On noes! I cant have a job that totally ceromonial and has no power! How sad that makes me.

Lets give up 1000 years of rich heritage so I can one day be head of state.

That's true! I read that somewhere....

Nm it was a CoW post :D

Interesting fact! There are some things that the monarch can't do either, for example the monarch is banned from entering the houses of commons, because she's not a commoner.

Yes, caste and class issues are quite a big deal in the UK. Are you denying that? It is one of the most rigid societies.

There's ONE job a commoner cant have and that's being the Head of State.

And it's one of the most important and powerful positions. In addition, it provides a lavish lifestyle for an extended family and also provides for additional positions among the family members that excludes actual qualified persons.

On noes! I cant have a job that totally ceromonial and has no power! How sad that makes me.

It's not totally ceremonial. The Queen wields great power: influence is quite powerful. Having meetings with the PM is power. Being able to appoint your inbred brethren to influential positions is power.

Lets give up 1000 years of rich heritage so I can one day be head of state.

The UK can still have its heritage despite deposing the monarchy. The history books won't change. The palaces won't vanish. They'll all still be there. Just this incredibly discriminatory and outdated practice will be abolished, similar to what Nepal and other former monarchies achieved years ago.

Hahahahaq.

If you believe that then you're an idiot.

Actually, that's already been established.

Personally I don't agree, I think that anyone can do anything in the right environment, I put little down to genetics.

Sorry, forgot to add /tongueincheek.

I believe that anybody can do anything they want to, just so long as they work hard enough for it. Stupid people can take things from smart people, they just have to work harder, the weak from the strong, etc. It's sad to see social mobility slowing in modern countries.

Edit: That is my main gripe with monarchy, it artificially limits human potential. You say that the royal family makes the UK money, that's good, but let's say there was a better family out their that could make the UK more money. In my mind, they should be the monarchs, it shouldn't be rigidly defined.

Interesting point, should the monarchy be more loose in terms of who can become a royal? Hmm.

I think so, imagine how revolutionary a Merit Based Monarchy would be!

England could rule the world again, and it'd shut me up about the monarchy! :D

Yeah that's quirky, I quite like it, the only problem I foresee, is that I would argue the current monarch are the best for the job, and that in your system they could not exist, the current monarchy are groomed and trained to be royalty from birth.

Also, it'd be difficult to decide who would be a monarch. (Perhaps a panel of very well respected Britons, akin to a Supreme Court that rules on who's cool). The current Monarchs would be allowed to keep their seats until someone demonstrated a better way of doing things.

We'd then have The Royal X-Factor.

It would not end well.

That sounds like it'd be the most profitable pay-per-view program ever devised by man.

You'd get money from all over the world, every time it had to happen. That right there is enough to earn more than the current Royals :p

All true, but imagine the monarchs we'd end up with.
