The Rock. Like him or hate him?

So what do you think of the Rock as an Actor?

Good.....Bad?

I mean ive seen a bunch of his movies and think he is pretty good.

Just watched the rundown which ive seen before and think he was really good in it. In fact i couldnt see any other person playing his part.

I think though Doom was a bad career choice. The movie will be a disastor.

yes i like the rock, however i think hes a c grade actor at best/ at least in the traditional sense.
wrestling is afterall, acting.

The Rock is 10x the actor Vin Diesel is. Not saying the Rock is great, but Vin Diesel is freakin' awful.

He's good both in the movies and acting wise. Remember all macho type actors (arnold, van damm, segal, etc) were not great actors either but all their movies kicked ass. Id say The Rock has way better acting skills then them, and he was funny as hell in the movie "Be Cool".

In the new generation of macho type actors he's doing a good job...although arnold will never be replacd

He did a great job in Be Cool. He is a good 'action hero' actor. I could not see him in a serious role though.

Someone's gotta take over for Stallone and the Governator in Action flicks. Who else can take the torch? Diesel is horrible, and there aren't many others around (although Jason Statham could possibly fill some of the void).

The Rock is a great action movie star. The Rundown was cool, we was great in Walking Tall, and he was hilarious in Be Cool.

(BTW, he's also doing a Spy Hunter movie, to be released next year).
