Oh Noes! :Q

...it has already created a two-foot tall, motorized robot that can travel ten miles per hour, spin around "on a dime," be controlled remotely and most importantly, "blow a ten-inch hole through a steel door with deadly accuracy from 400 meters."

Meh. I don't see any proof of anything in that article. It's a bunch of hearsay. Sure; there are robot doing lots of dangerous tasks so humans don't have to in this age. Bomb defusing robots, arc welding robots, deep-sea robots, etc.

The robot in THIS article looks like a mockup. It's a treaded vehicle w/some double guns that don't exist yet mounted up top. The guns look fake.

The best Offensive robot weapon today is still the Predator (and it's ilk) unmanned aerial drone/missile. Suicide bombers without the human cost or the "Allah Akbarrrrrrr!!!!" yelling.

Wow, you can tell all that from a tiny 191x215 pixel picture? You should work for CSI!

What's even more impressive is your ability to distinguish those guns that "don't exist yet" from this gun, as mentioned in the article, which clearly DOES exist.

Be careful what you say, you don't want them to hear it!
