I like a good donut, and Krispy Kreme ain't one...they lasted here for about 2 years then folded. Blamed it on the Anti-Carb nazi's, but the other donut stores here are doing fine. I think people just finally realized they make a donut that is teh suck...

Yeah, it died here in Tucson (AZ) as well. The guy who owned all of the west coast stores went bankrupt. How the hell do you go bankrupt in this kind of situation?

1) Donuts cost nothing to make
2) You only need to pay minimum wage to the pimply-faced teenagers running the store
3) Krispy Kreme has been a huge fad for quite some time even though their donuts are no better than Dunkin Donuts

That seriously took either a dire medical emergency or severe incompetence.

So they just give away rent for free in California now?

Their doughnut's rock, why are all these krispy kreme's going out of business?

Because their doughnuts do not, in fact, rock, but rather the opposite.
Bingo. Their glazed are okay, the filled suck. DD is much better for filled

KK set up shop here for a bit, but I think Tim Horton laughed so loud that the place fell down.
