you're an evil girlfriend. I know your secret plan to pass off the curse onto your boy friend.

my sister saw it last weekend and came home all freaked out. She said that she made her friends walk her to the door after she got out of the car. needless to say, there was a powerful urge in me that wanted to scare her when she was sleeping, but I played Mr. Nice Guy.
:D

I definitely wanna see it sometime soon...

What do you mean you watched it "already?"

Were you planning on holding off for a few years?

I didn't think it was horribly scary...maybe because the theater I was at was filled with 14 year old girls who would scream at anything and everything (totally ruined the suspense) and their 14 year old boyfriends who would make fart noises everytime there was a quiet moment in the film. Kind of ruins the mood of the movie. Anyways, that said, I really enjoyed it. Good flick. :)

I'm a huge fan of NOT going to see horror movies. the Scream series scared me, i know what u did last summer scared me, and I had nightmares about the Chuckie series for months. It doesn't help that I live in one of the darkest, creepiest neighborhoods in Northern California. So I probably wont go see this movie either, however i have read a bunch of reviews for it and would like someone to spoil it for me please :) If you wanna tell me the ending, who the killer was, what exactly happened, please do because i want to know and i'm definitely not going to go see this movie, as much as I want to. Call me a wimp but I sleep fine at night now and i don't really want to disturb that =/

It was very very good. For me, it was not screaming-scary, rather OMG-I-have-to-throw-up-scary! Needless to say, Skoorb got snuggled during that one! :)

That movie scarred me (I MEAN scarred, not scared, although it did that too) It was skillfully done but very frightening and I wish I hadnt seen it. I dont have any kids, but I know that if I had a 13 year old kid that saw that I would be angry. It just goes to show how weak our rating system is. I think this movie would damage a 13 year old kid much more than seeing a pair of boobs.

It was very good. The girl I went with is still creeped out by it. Though it did leave some questions un answered. i guess I'll have to read the book.

I'm wondering if they'll make a series of these much like the Japanese original that this one is based on.

It scared me pretty good too (and I actually fell asleep for a bit in the middle since I was so exhausted that day, but it still got me going even though I missed a little bit.) Now that I'm no longer experiencing the post movie jumpiness I'm very glad I saw it as it was great. It's probably not something I'd buy on DVD since it's VERY dark and gloomy, but I wouldn't mind seeing it again some time.

Yeah, it's actually a series of books by Suzuki Koji.

I was under the impression that the book was only in Japanese at the current time, although they'd undoubtedly have plans to release an English version given the popularity of the film.
