the ring: creepy (spoilers?)

Just watched it and seriously, I thought it was.

What the hell is it about little kids that's all creepy? The scariest part for me was in the beginning when they showed the first girl's "rotted" head kinda fall forward (or was it backward) with her mouth all open and....creepy like that.

It doesn't help to watch it drunk when you're even more vulnerable. Now I have to watch something happy-ish to offset it and be able to sleep without seeing rings and dead girls with long black hair in my dreams.

Huzzah for norp.

I like when she comes out of the well on the TV and slowly shambles towards the screen of the TV...that walk was spooky. 🙂

After watching this I'm not amazed at how easy it is to spook one's self out. On the way to brush my teeth I basically imagined every cliche scary thing happening.

- Evil faces staring in at me through windows
- Evil faces staring at me through bathroom mirrors
- Evil persons looking up at me from dark stairwells.
etc.

practically scared the piss outta myself. I mean, I looked out the window and there was a dude across the street with his back towards me, totally still for like 1/2 a minute. I was like WTF??? when he turned and was on a cell phone I hadn't noticed before.

And to make things worse there's an "evil" tree outside my house that watches me. I swear it does. I've you've seen Sleepy Hollow, it's more evil looking than the tree the headless horseman rides out of.

I post pics shortly.

That is one ugly tree.

That is one ugly tree.

Yes, it has a rail spike in it. I imagine some holy warrior battled with the tree long ago, lost and was swallowed, but not after impaling it with the holy relic. I shan't speak much more about it, lest it be angered.

man u need to cut down that tree

And not have an evil tree to show/talk about? Bah, I'll deal with the curse. 😛
But seriously, it's frickin' freaky lookin' at night.

I just saw it too and was dissapointed how cliche it was... very predicatable throughout, except the end... 🙂

Can't say that is scared me any though.

Just watched it last night as well, and found it to be pretty boring, and not all that scary. I liked the horse bouncing off the side of the boat into the water...that cracked me up. "NEIGH!"
