Calling all the XC and mountain bikers out there. Surely you had one day you can remeber where it was the best ride you had?
Mine was this weekend. Recently I bought a Giant XTC2, brand new, not the best but nicely equipped...sweet ride IMO that I just wanted to really test the $hit out of it.
I tried it a dozen times since I got it but saturday was amazing. Me and a friend got at a spot we go sometimes. The region have had 200mm on rain in the last 3 days. Ground was wet with mud all over the place. Wet leaves on the ground made the trails very slippery. We rode for 2 hours in there, in mud holes 10 inches deep, sliding our way down in wet leaves, mud, rocks and roots.
We came out of there litteraly covered in mud, both us and our bikes.
The best ride since I got that bike, which I love!
