I just did the RF filter mod on my Visiontek GTS 32Meg, and OMG it is crisp and clean all they way up to my monitor's max res (12x10*60hz, 17" Sony) whereas before the mod I'd feel as if I was going blind.

If you use high resolutions with an Nvidia vid card, I highly recommend performing the RF filter bypass. Instructions are here.

You have a 17" Sony that goes to a max resolution of 1280x1024 @ 60Hz?
And you thought you had video card issues....?

Yeah this sucker was blurring at 10x7*85hz and above. I didn't think it was possible, but it is :Q

It was even worse than using the passthrough cable with an old Voodoo 2 board.

I agree.. it was the best spent 20 minutes in a long time.. I'm running at 1280x1024 @ 100hz on my 21in Sony. Crystal Clear. IMHO image quality rivals both ATI & Matrox..

<< many nVIDIA -based cards have this problem. >>

Does this mean every card is this way? My card isn't terrible, its just not the best 2D wise. Considering im practically blind, It doesn't much bother me..but if this mod is possible and will help for ANY card I will definately do it.

<< Hmm. Can I do this on my Guillemot Prophet II GTS 64? >>

Yep, I've done two cards, both a Guillemot Prophet II GTS 64 and a Guillemot Prophet II GTS 64 Pro.

Just follow the diagram on the page listed above.
