By now I'm sure that almost everyone has heard about his comments in a recent interview where he would not explicitly defend DT's behavior over American values. How long do you think it will take before the Don kicks Rex out of the fold?

I'll say Tillerson can stay secretary of state and say whatever he wants as long as he never ever takes credit for anything.

Have to give Rex credit. Must be hard working for a racist, sexist braggart who acts like he has syphilitic dementia.

I wonder if he's there because he feels leaving would make things worse. Hopefully he's working with others behind the scenes to remove this pungent shitstain from office.

C'mon Mueller, give these traitorous cowards in Congress an excuse to do the right thing. Remove this buffoon from office before someone snaps and does it the wrong way.

Tillerson is the guy I thought would personally benefit financially most from his position, so far that hasn't panned out. He has extensive experience in corporate international relations, it must greatly pain him to be working under a know-it-all rank amateur buffoon.

I'm surprised he hasn't walked already, maybe his recent conduct is to try and get Trump to fire him. That said, replacing the Sec of State is a very big deal. If he goes that is going to derail all other action in the Senate (except of course the debt ceiling matter)-further stalling Trump's agenda.

Frankly Tillerson is everything Trump claimed to be- a tough, experienced businessman who can handle complex negotiations.

Must be a sweet gig for a guy with plenty of FU money to put up with Trump's bullshit.

So far, Icahn made about $500 million in a single day's worth of work "advising president Trump." ...which is why he is no longer in this position, and why the White House is furiously attempting to erase the actual known records of Icahn working as an official, sanctioned, "special adviser" to Hair Trump. These kind of deals can't work with someone like Tillerson, because he is an actual official in the administration. "Special advisers" can more or less skate by the rules of ethics that govern honest, normal human beings...so a good thing that neither of these two assholes are anything like that.

So, you want the USA to be a Russian-style oligarchy, because this is how you get a Russian-style oligarchy

Oh, butter emails, of course. with a side of Ben Gazi.

I had that thought, too. I wonder if Trump will manage to somehow funnel any money from Mexico towards his wall hallucination.

No I'm thinking it would be easier to say Mexico provided some inflated number of aid, like 850 million then remove the 850 million from the walls start up cost because that was money for aid that was not spent. Corporate money card trick type stuff.

These are fun, I'm going with not going to happen however if resignation counts (the kind where Rex says I'm tired of this shit, not the I flew too many private jets type) I'll say end of next year.

Not clear what he'll say. Speculation ranges from deny he ever said Trump was a "moron" to moving to another cabinet post to straight up resigning.

For a guy that has taken almost every conscious effort to dodge the press this is seems kinda bigly. But this could be similar to the McMaster session after the Russia Tea Session at the White House where Trump bragged about intel from Israeli's and McMaster got on camera and kissed the ring and took the hit for the king. Will see if this is Big Pants Rex or Little Britches Rex.

Well apparently his office already put out a statement contradicting everything in the NBC report...so I'm gonna go with "Lil' Britches Rex"!

Denies he ever thought about resigning. To a room full of people who know otherwise.
