ATI is pretty bad about selling AIW parts separately since the idea is that you are getting a "bargain" by buying and All in Wonder. The 8500DV is a great card with lots of improvements over the previous one. The price should start coming down soon, but it will never get very low because of the hardware and software included. Once you see that the price hasn't come down at all two months straight (i.e. on pricewatch) then it might be a good time to get the best value for your money.
Note however that ATI won't support win 9X for the card. That is one of the things stopping me from buying it. The other is that I already have the ATI DV Wonder and another ATI videocard.
Ironically, since I'm in Canada (working down the street from ATI actually), it is cheaper for me to order it from the States and pay the ridiculous shipping and handling rates, insurance exchange rate, duty and customs charges than it is to buy from the cheapest vendor in Toronto. Doesn't make much sense, right?
