The Religion of Peace shows mercy and kindness

Doctor in Pakistan is handed a business card from a man sharing the same first name as their famed prophet, and later throws the business card in the trash.

His punishment? Possible death. And if not carried out by the government, the Mosque the business man belongs to may put a contract out for the doctor's murder.

Wow, so all you need is the right name and you have yourself a license to kill! What wonderful allies we have over in those regions of the world, it'll be wonderful moving forward as we embrace their culture more and more here. Embrace their laws, integrate their way of life into America's foundation, all moving towards one happy tolerant politically correct utopia.

We'll see how this plays out.

Somewhere over in that country, there are powerful people that goes into private rooms, away from prying eyes and ears, and rage out on the total and complete F'dupness of the people in their country.

For whoever those people are, I really feel sorry for them.....

What's funny is that in making these scraps of paper out to be more than just scraps of paper, these idiots are committing the sin of idolatry.

Edit: Hmm, if the accused is a doctor, a leader in the West should offer to take them and their family into exile. Sure, we'll take your highly intelligent and useful outcasts, you keep the dudes who want to murder him because of a business card...

Lol @ Blasphemy Laws. Being punished for throwing away a business card from someone that happens to have the same name is you fairy tale man is beyond retarded.

"Peace" to them means "everyone does exactly as I think they should do, otherwise they should be punished!". Religion of peace indeed.

It's ironic that last year around this time I named a piece of dogshit in the neighbors yard Mohammed, in light of the F'ing idiots going bezerk on the teacher who's class named a stuffed bear Mohammed.

That POS is long gone, but, I'm willing to bet if I go over to their yard again, I'll find another one laying there. Just when you hope these stupid F'rs are making some progress, you hear sh1t like this.....

Yet another example of why no religion should be called the religion of peace.

As if any N of 1 examples teaches us anything.

So whoopeie due, let us trot every bad example in world history of Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, and every other religion bad behavior.

That ought to take this forum about 30 years to even start processing, or we can maybe start out by realizing every religion has more than its share of intolerant jerks who love to kill, rob, and torture on the name of their God. And waste another 30 years championing the concept of get them before they get you.

Or maybe we can all get off our pitty pots and start to realize good behavior and understanding breeds the same in others. And we can all do better in future.

And also gasp realize, in today's nuclear age, WE BETTER DO BETTER IF THE HUMAN RACE IS TO SURVIVE.

The point LL is we are, and already have, done better. This country which is a nuclear power hasn't. And they haven't to a shocking degree.

What is going to get these folks to progress? Do we have to take them over like Iraq to effect change not measured on scales incremented in 100 year marks?

Why would we do that when we have let other nuclear powers such as the UK do stupid shit to a shocking degree?

where are all the extremist buddhist/taoist/zen followers?

How the f**k does the government function if they cant dispose of any paperwork with their most popular mens name on it?

They must have some really big filing cabinets.

Exactly 0.00% of what you state is happening or will ever happen.

As for the fantastic "Our douchebags are more righteous than yours" thread you created here skippy, let's not forget about Mike Huckabee, ordained Southern Baptist minister calling for the assassination of Julian Assange.

Sorry we're not culturally superior, nor is our favored religion.

And what if it's on the computer? You can't delete the file?
A man's life should be worth more than arcane laws, especially when it is going out of the way.

TBH though this is less about Religion and more about corruption.

If it was purely about religion it would be applied equally across everyone in Pakistan and the country would shut down (not that it functions that well anyway).

Frankly, I'm surprised MSNBC headquarters hasn't been suicide bombed yet for reporting that his name was "Muhammad".

How many nations' governments greet blasphemy with a possible death sentence, let alone criminalize it at all, and what religion are they?
