The reference SiS 645 board is out - when will we see the benchmarks?

Yeah I was just looking at that. It will be only a matter of time. Hopefully when it is reviewed there will be RAM that can run at DDR333 so we can see how it does on the P4!

Over at OCWorkbench SiS is demoing the first "live" DDR333 system with the SiS 735 reference board running at a 166MHz FSB with DDR 333 SDRAM. They ought to ship some samples of that RAM out with the 645 board to reviewers.

If the reference board is out now, I'd expect ECS to have a 645 board out by November. That would explain the rumor that the i845/Brookdale DDR chipset will be coming from Intel in November instead of next year.

Yeah I noticed the thing about SiS having a live 166/166 fsb/mem demo. That's cool, I agree that SiS would send out DDR 333 because that's probabley the big thing that 645 has over P4X. I'd expect ECS to have one ASAP, they obviously are planning on it because they're P4X solution is SDRAM based, they're probably saving the DDR market for they good buddy SiS's new 645.
