Bill Maher is a pompously arrogant and frequently annoying and divisive man on a number of certain topics which he tends to fixate on in a manner not unlike obsessive-compulsive disorder I would say (in my totally unqualified non-expert opinion lol.)
Still, he is very sharp and observant in many other respects, and he can speak for himself very lucidly and eloquently when he decides to. If you don't watch his show (for some probably easily explained reason), well, watch this clip from last friday's episode anyway, and then think of what he says. Bill lays out his case pretty clearly here, I'd say.
