Does this project contribute to basic medical, biophysical, etc research? Nope!
Does this project search for alien life? Nope!

Info on the project can be found here

Stats per user are capped at 3K per machine & 9K overall so don't put the whole "farm" on this project.

This project uses very little cpu power!

Am I going to do daily Stats? Nope!

I do have new found respect for BMC, GLeeM, etc who do daily stats though!

It took me forever to put this on post together.;)

Freewolf's original post for the DLV project is here

thanks for the stats biodoc.

Just to add a bit of information. Each user is limited to 3 clients, and as you stated, a 9k link cap per day. Because of this, the only way to move higher in the team stats is to have more active members.

So we NEED more members!!! :D

I tried installing it to my Win2k Pro box alongside BOINC. Installed fine, but I couldn't open the Client. Double Clicked the icon, and it just didn't do anything. No CPU being used in the background either.

Check your tray icons. Is it there? If so, double click on the icon and the program should come up. When I stop the program and restart, it shows up as a tray icon; no other indication that it is running. The process is called RedLib-DLV.exe, if you want to check that.

Hmmmm. Now the process is there using 100% of my CPU with no tray icon. :(

definitely kill the process & uninstall/reinstall. RedLib should only use on average 1% CPU or less.
