I was wondering if any of the games too into account physx being used..

I must admit while the 480 is interesting.. my eyes are on the 470 and 5850... With everything I have seen in the reviews.. the 5850 is constantly on the 470's heels with lower temps/noise (noise isn't important.. but, a random thought)

I find it a somewhat difficult choice.. I am wondering if better drivers will come out for the 470 or if the price is really gunna be right at the 350$ mark.. if the 350$ mark stays true.. it may be worth an upgrade.

Its your ears man, if it dosn't bother you go for the 470. The 480 is a steaming pile imo, i'd stay away from it.

and you can find a factory overclocked 5850 for $290: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-351-_-Product

So you either get a faster card, that runs cooler and quieter or you get more or less similar performance, quieter and cooler and pocket $60 towards your next videocard upgrade. That leaves a GTX 470 in "no-mans-land". I would probably go for the 5850 (that cooler is upgraded too).

Honestly you sold me with the upgraded cooler.

if I can get it on sale (tax returns suck)..

I will save 60$ now and in a few months get another one to crossfire and save another 40$ minimum...

Plus the upgraded cooler is a real deal sealer for me seeing as I'm already worried about heat issues.
