core clocking is left entirely up to 3dfx, but memory timing should fall withing the specs of the used chips, so in case of V5 6K they should've used 5.5ns chips to achieve ~180Mhz and i think they did.

Maybe he's trying to rationalize the fact that he's stuck with a TNT1 or Riva128 and wants a Voodoo card so bad he's frothing at the mouth. He trying to delude himself into thinking Voodoo cards "is suck" (oh no... I'm really going Anander now!) so rambles on and on saying how inferior they are- all the while he CAN'T get the voodoo card he wants so bad. Either he's young and his parents won't buy him one, or he's older and can't afford it, or his "significant other" won't let him.
That or the fuzzy text has finally gotten to him... This MX is no better at 2D than the POS Cirrus Logic card I use as a crutch between GOOD video cards... I remember taking out the Voodoo3 and going back to this thing and remembering how fuzzy even 1024x768 looked in comparison. The Geforce2 MX shows very little, or no, improvement.
Now his whole world is hazed and unclear...

Most of us have tried to patiently wait him out, then offer constructive criticism, them politely change the subject... Still the buzzing continues.
At some point, comes the inevitable time to swat.

Hardware just loves pushing peoples' buttons- whatever they may be. The most popular button is to just spout mindless drivel that one company "rules" and another "sucks" for whatever unfounded reasons he can make up. He's just pushed too many people past that redline... even VERY patient long-time members here.
