This is an old article, but interesting read, nevertheless. It presents an alternate perspective as to what will happen in Afghanistan in 2014 after NATO withdraws.

The article is based on this essay- http://www.brookings.edu/research/essays/2013/deadly-triangle-afghanistan-pakistan-india-c
I have said this before and i will say this again, the United States need to stop all kind of military aid to Pakistan. Pakistan has again and again proven that they are the biggest supporters of terrorism in the modern world. India has said this again and again but still most the west has turned a blind eye. US doesn't want Iran to get nukes, but they ignore that until Pakistan is forced to bring its nuclear program under strict international monitoring, like Syria; there will always will be a threat of nukes falling into the hands of Taliban/Al-Queda
