While the $20 target dc games was HOT (picked up Shenmue, nba2k1, jet set radio and Q3a), I think everybody should
goto Best Buy and pick up Chu Chu Rocket for $9.99 dreamcast.

this game is paramount.

My Target was out of half of the games, but I picked up Shenmue & Tomb Raider. I have heard Jet Grind Radio is excellent too. Anyone tried it?

In the Sunday ads this weekend, I *think* it was the CompUSA ad, NFL 2K1 was on sale for $39. Everyone else is still selling it for $49,
so it's a pretty good deal.

Although, I may hold off on buying it until they have support for the DC ethernet adapter that I just bought.

TJI-

I am about to buy the DC broadband adapter. Do you enjoy it (are there any issues)? Please let me know. Thanks!

vedder00 - It just got here today.. So, I haven't had a chance to try it out yet. The only game I have that supports it is Quake 3 Arena. So, I'll try that & the sega WWW Browser & post any issues to this thread.

I was a bit surprised to find that no CD was shipped with it. It just has the ethernet interface & a small manual. I hope my version of the WWW Browser is compatible with it.

FYI - I had a lot of problems ordering this.. I paid more for 2 day shipping. Then I tried to cancel the order after two weeks because they didn't ship it & lied to me about the status. They refused to cancel the order, once again telling me it was in transit. Then late last week they finally e-mailed me the UPS tracking number. Hopefully they have worked these issues out & your order will be smoother.

I hooked up my broadband adapter..

I was disappointed to find that the newest available Sega Web Browser (v2.6) did not support broadband. I think version 3.0 is supposed to be out shortly, and that is supposed to support ethernet.

Quake 3 Arena worked just fine. Initially, I mistyped the IP address of my DNS server, which caused Q3 to hang. After I fixed that, it worked like a champ.

The configuration could be simpler.. like a check box to enable DHCP, rather than knowing that leaving 0.0.0.0 in the address & router fields means that it will use DHCP.

Also, I used it from behind my Linux gateway box, which was doing NAT. No problems there.. NAT'd just fine.
