the ramones

They really are a great band, especially given their limited musical abilities. My favorites are Havana Affair, Commando, and Today Your Love, Tomorrow the World (for some reason the Nazi-themed Ramones songs really appeal to me).

I actually had the pleasure of seeing the Ramones live without even knowing they were going to be at the show. They actually opened for White Zombie and their set was insane. They played nonstop, well... inbetween each song, right when one ended, they just said "1.2.3.4!" and started the next. It was cool 🙂 RIP Joey. 🙁

Limited musical abilities? Johnny Ramone originated the down-stroke eighth note guitar style, which takes a lot of endurance and skill to do for any length of time like he did with the Ramones.
