Prove that.Seriously. The big 3 are price gouging.
Just use cheap value RAMs or..Seriously. The big 3 are price gouging.
I can remember spending almost $200 on 2GBs of DDR2 500mhz
No can do. They reduced output, raising prices on RAM, but not so much that you can't easily buy enough for your needs.Prove that.
So maybe now people will be forced to actually buy the amount they NEED (a mere 4-8 gigs) rather than wasting money on absurd amounts (like 16-32) :sneaky:
Does the price going to $6/GB really affect you all that much? If it's real work, you could surely afford that, without worrying over the cost. At 16GB, it's gone up like $30-40, so far. Significant, with a budget <$1000, but not terrible. Compare that cost, FI, with the cost of Photoshop, which can exceed $500.Believe it or not, some of us actually do real work on their PC instead of just play games. Sometimes productivity needs more RAM than WoW 😀
My PC will easily eat 10+ GB when I'm doing heavy Photoshop work.
A very 1980s solution, judging from the clothing and hair style.Just use cheap value RAMs or..

Indeed.Speak for yourself Buster. For my workload, 16 GB is is the baseline.
