the Quick Category Search - need to be able to sort results

Quick search is a very handy 'topic only' search feature, yet the results displayed from it are unsortable. Now wouldn't it would be useful to be able to click on any category header, eg Views, Originator, Last Post (most importantly this one!) to sort the results? For example how many times have you gone to the Hot Deals forum, searched for an item, and were given random results, and then had to take the time to figure out which posts were most current and which ones were dated beyond what you were looking for? Certainly it'd be a bit more convenient and efficient to be able to simply click the 'Last Post' category header and have the results sorted accordingly thereto. But i don't know, what do u guys think?

I just use Advanced Search tjaisv

Go to the Advanced Search page. Check the box for "Order search results by date". After that all your searches, whether advanced or simple, should be sorted by date. You might want to read the threads below for additional information:
