The Quake!!! Master-Server...

The Quake!!! Master-Server seems to be down more often than its up. Is this thing that wimpy that it cannot stay up 24/7? Its not like it ever has many more than 130 sub-servers being coordinated through it.

Perhaps some of you diehard Quake!!! fans have a workaround for finding games when the Master-Server goes down. Please share with the rest of us.

Memorize the ips/dns of your favorite servers or use GameSpy or whatever it's called.

Are you reveiving an error that is keeping you from playing or can you just not find any servers?
