the problem with watching Nick at Nite

the problem with watching old shows in syndication is that you can tell the instant it jumps the shark.

watching last night's Roseanne? great!
watching tonight's episodes? painful

when you're only watching a show 1 night a week with breaks in the summer tv schedule before seeing new episodes again, it takes a little longer to realize when a show's jumped over and gone from good to awful.

that show .... in the beginning the scripts were awesome and the acting was crap. then for a few seasons, the balance was perfect. But as soon as Roseanne went to work in the Mall diner, the show jumped shark. and the last season was soooo embarrassing!!!

as a kid i liked watching nick at nite, like green acres, mash, and bewitched, my wife watches the new stuff they have on there now.
