Our HL2040 just about ran out on its starter toner, and will need a replacement a soon. Luckily, I came across a 20% deal at swiftink.com, but they dont seem to carry TN350 toners we need. After a quick search in the general hardware forum, this place came up as an alternative. There was just one person that left a feedback on them, so I would like to see more responses before ordering.

A strange thing is the fact that their "bulk toners" are priced lower than the refill kits. I would assume the bulk toners are probably made out of the same material, then wouldnt the refill kits be cheaper?

Linky here

Any relevant input is appreciate, TIA.

To VanillaH,

Since you have no responces to date, I will take a stab at it-----I would advise you to check at the "niifty stuff forums"----they do have a section on laser printers.-----just google the name without the quotes.------if nothing else you may some other options.

-Compatible Cartridges - Generic or remanufactured cartridge.

-Refill Kit - Toner powder, tools, and instructions to refill it yourself.

-Bulk Toner - Toner powder only to refill yourself. No tools or instructions.

Never refilled a Brother laser before, but the instructions say to remove all old toner powder as they might contaminate the new powder.

You might also look at Ebay as there are sellers of refills and both generics and remanufactured cartridges.
