The "print selected text" doesn't show in word.

After installing Office 2003, I can't print the selected text in word.
It's very weird, the printing interface changed totally. It happens in outlook also.

I reinstalled Office 2000 and the problem persists. Any clues?

Actually, this just happens with Outlook. The regular Outlook. Outlook express, Word, Excel, etc, works just fine. I got my head mixed up 😛

if the message is just a plain text message, you will get the simple outlook print dialog without the "Selection" option. you need to change it to an html email (Edit-->Edit Message; then Format-->HTML). Now if you select text and then open the print options, you will get the "Selection" option.

The solution, posted at hardforum.com was this "TechLarry Gawd

Are you opening the email, or are you just printing when it's selected in the header listing?

Outlook has minimal options when printing from the mail listing (you can't even change printers).

You have to open the email and print from that window to have full options.

No, I don't know why they designed it that way

Thanks everybody for your help!
