The Practice 11/26

serial killer on trial for murdering 9 women.
Serial killer confesses to the crimes and wants to plead insanity
Criminal Psychologist beleives he is faking confession.
Defense lawyers trick the serial killer during trial and after inital plea of guilty by insanity, they change plea to not guilty.
Defense lawyers argue that defendant is not the serial killer and that he is just confessing to crimes he did not commit.
Defense lawyers trap him on the witness stand to admit stuff that is completely off.
Jury beleives the defense lawyers that he is not the real serial killer even after the prosecuting lawyer make a great conspriay theory arguement that the whole thing was staged.

At the end of the show, the serial killer after being acquitted is talking to his defense lawyers how he really is the serial killer and his great ploy actually worked...

Sorry if I am not describing it 100% clear, but it was pretty complex...
