The post-interview wait is killing me...

Passed the phone interview two weeks ago,
I was interviewed in-house exactly a week ago.
Met with 3 people - hiring manager, sr project manager & director.

I definitely do better with females. Did well with hiring manager and nailed it with the director (both are women). I did okay with the sr proj manager (man).

Now I don't know what to feel because the HR rep made it seem like the SPM is the shot caller - the one I did worst in... but then again, I really did Great with the director. Fuck me...

I sent them nice thank you letters past monday. Also I emailed the hiring manager with the next step. She hasn't even replied to my email.

Man.... the wait is killing me. I really want this job.

One week is not a long time, they are working by their time tables and not yours. Just stay loose, I've been there and the wait is no fun.

what i usually do is, i'll assume i didnt get that job & keep applying for different jobs. This will keep me occupied until i get that job, if they come back & say no, by that time i would've lined up another interview.

That's the thing. I'm stupidly putting all my eggs in this basket, fully knowing I shouldn't. I even stopped looking. I don't know I get all dumb like that.
