RCP's average of 12 major pollsters has Clinton with a 7.7 point lead as of the time of this post, which in todays atmosphere is quite significant.
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...s/general_election_trump_vs_clinton-5491.html

I just have a few questions for Trump supporters.

1. Does it worry you that even watching it all collapse, that he still cant keep his mouth shut and stay on message? The Anti Hillary message is quite strong, but he just cant stop saying batshit crazy things and he cant stop being combative with... pretty much everyone. DAMN YOU MEGAN KELLYYYYYY and also BROWN PEOPLE!!!

2. What did you think would happen if Trump won the republican nomination? Did you think he would suddenly start acting like a leader?

At this point it's clear the guy has serious personality issues at the least, at the worst he has an undiagnosed psychiatric condition with his aging brain.

System is rigged.

Trump is right on that, it is rigged. It is systematically set up so that a loudmouth narcissistic racist blowhard with zero political experience that cannot stop putting his own foot in his mouth would have an extremely difficult time winning the white house. The system really is heavily weighted against such a candidate.

I honestly feel bad for Trump. I mean, everyone knows he never really wanted to be President, right? He figured throwing his hat in the ring would be a great way to revitalize his brand (lol), gain significant influence with the "pro-business" party (settle for Tea Party?) and perhaps secure a political legacy for his children (oh welp.)

But oh no, the Republican Party had already thrown the doors open for shit-stain Tea Partiers. They had already gone down the path of throwing donors and national funds to upstart Tea Party candidates in favor of their own incumbent "establishment" candidates. They had already given credence to birthers, gun worshippers, Glenn Beckers, Paliners, Cruzers and "ZOMG! Our president is a MUSLIM!!!"ers. How could they possibly turn back because of Trumpism? How could they ever allow 15 other candidates to even challenge him on a debate stage? Reince Priebus has been working the "PARTY UNITY!!!" line overtime, right up until the point that establishment Republicans are now jumping off a sinking ship to join Hillary!

So now Trump finds himself the leader of a hollowed party of mouth breathers, with a brand name he'll have to write off, and the scary prospect of leading the free world for 4 years on a measly salary of $400K and ZERO influence over Congress. The only option left is to torpedo himself in the polls in the hopes that he doesn't win!

I don't know that there is a set of circumstances where I could feel badly for Donnie T.

He is human garbage.

Whoa... will he have to pay taxes on that $400k? Or will he find enough write-offs to make his tax burden zero? :p

Trump just cant help himself when he's in front of a crowd that feeds off his bullshit. He's not going to get those boisterous cheers talking about policy details, not that he's capable of doing so anyways. He feeds off the energy of the crowd, and that energy comes from hurling insults and stoking anger, and once he gets on a roll he simply blurts out whatever he thinks of next that will elicit the next roar.

This is why I cant wait for the debates, assuming he doesn't chicken out of them. No crowd to give him that instant gratification he craves. Just him and his podium alongside Hillary Clinton who is his intellectual superior in every regard. After 15-20 minutes of deflecting every serious question with insults and canned lines about not winning anymore, and no crowd reactions to give him compass, he's going to look like a blithering idiot. It will be glorious. I predict he does one debate, and then drops the reset claiming media bias after he rightfully gets torched by the media after his first dismal debate performance.

I remember before Joe Biden debated Sarah Palin he practiced at saying you're wrong in a kind way so he wouldn't appear to be a smart ass bully to someone who clearly had a lower IQ.
I wonder what Hillary's practicing? I wonder if Trump is practicing in any way? I wonder how many debate coaches/practice partners will be fire for saying mean things to Trump?

Hilary should learn the lesson that the people who don't like her are already going to see her as arrogant, so she might as well beat the crap out of Donnie in the debates and make it clear she's the winner rather than leave any ambiguity for people to spin.

It would be interesting to know how Hillary is preparing for this debate. She's going to come off as more knowledgeable by default, so she probably doesn't need to spend a whole lot of time memorizing facts and figures in order to come off as more informed. I would imagine most of her debate prep is centered around how she should manage her reactions to his insults, and maximize the perception of a wanna be alpha male attempting to bully a woman. She will likely minimize eye rolling and outwards signs of exasperation after he sais his trademark dumb ass things. She will also likely bait him with subtle jabs questioning his wealth or intelligence and then get out of the way and let him self immolate.

Nothing brings out the supporters more than a 'meh' attitude about winning or losing.....

As I heard this morning, imagine how bad its going to be comes the first week of October and no real Republican support with Trump down by 10 points, Imagine the rhetoric that will be spouted out with no accountability.

I still wonder, will any REAL Republicans still be supporting Trump come October? I suppose there may still be a few sad souls suffering from Stockholm Syndrome...

Yup, it still begs the same question of republican primary voters. What were they thinking? I mean that seriously, like what did they think Trump was going to look like as a serious contender for the highest office on Earth? Did they think he was going to suddenly look like a mature adult with leadership skills? How many "celebrity feuds" does someone need to go through before people see the problem isnt everyone else's. It's the one getting into fights with everyone else.

These are the same people who are convinced Obama is a secret Kenyan Muslim blah blah blah. The ones who attacked Obama for the last 8 years accusing him of being all of the things that Trump ACTUALLY is.

You might be expecting too much.

I do agree, primarily his primary voters are the lowest rung of the IQ ladder.
- "I like him, he talks straight so I can understand it" was a common theme. Yeah, because you are dumb and he is talking to you like you are dumb.
"He already has money, so he cant be corrupted" was another common theme. Right, because the rich white businessman always does whats best for everyone, rather than whats best for himself. /s

Reps, you are getting what you deserve with Trump. Your party is so full of intolerance that you cant even tolerate each other. The problem is, because you numb-nuts put up Trump as the republican nominee, now we are all going to be stuck with Clinton as president. Your lack of forethought has hurt us all and lowered our country.

I don't agree with that statement...die hard Trumpers are only between 10-12% of the voting population. The real problem is that the Republican Party has been so fucktarded since 2010 and pushing so hard right that they lost their goddamn base and nobody noticed. Trump won the primary with "record numbers" because all the crazies came out and no one wanted to show up for Bush, Rubio, Cruz, etc. etc.
