As to the idea of an AnandTech Messenger I don't think it is a grood idea. I come here for the hot deals. One of the great things about forums is you get to see what everone is saying and if a private message sevice is started than the "deal masters" would tell other "deal masters" and us small people, aka grateful moochers, wouldn't be able to get in on deals anymore.
