The Police did NOT list all of my car damage for the accident.

But from the initial impact point on the car it won't be hard to show that the additional damage WAS caused by the accident. They got the description of how it happened correct so I am grateful for that.:D

Only if the let that drunk driver free anytime soon. Can get the additional damage recognized, may not be able to save an innocent life if that Attempted Murder gets on the loose again.

Get represented.. It's not your insurance company that is doing the paying.. Soooo.. your not the "customer" and they don't give a crap about you.. I got hit on my ninja a few years ago and it was tough.. I did it myself and that was a mistake.

You should NOT need to deal with them! If your car was covered by collision coverage, report the accident to your insurance and let THEM deal with the other party. THAT is what you pay them for.

assuming you have insurance, take the car to the claims adjuster who will evaluate the car and determine what was damamged from your last accident.

would not sudgest that. You will get more money if u get a lawyer and u take your car to body car repair and let your lawyer make the adjuster come their. The reason is that they know more about how much what will cost then u.So they will be abel to make some money of it after all said and done. Also if a lawyer take this case usually he take 33% and the rest are yours.

The car has NEVER been in an accident before this.

Thanks, will get a lawyer anyway due to the DUI of the other party. I really don't want this to happen to someone else. Also, my other car 10 years ago was hit while parked, my insurance paid and went after the other party but that agent was mad and did not decrease my rates. My rate decrease $30 a month after I changed agents. So filing your insurance when it is not your fault is not a good idea from my experience. Lawyers who suggest this want to run up cost no matter what or are giving bad advice. The other party's insurance is suppose to pay.

hmm, you didn't happen to get rear ended by a firebird on tuesday did you? (me)

IT WAS YOU????? Just kidding, Mine involved a DUI (not me), so I am glad that it wasn't you.
