To prevent the dismal threads like this

If you think that parties are boring, you have the wrong idea about them, and/or you hang out with people that aren't suited to you.

Getting drunk at parties sucks..... I prefer to engage in certain pre, post, and/or during party relaxation techniques. Once in an elevated state of consciousness, interaction with other laid-back, good-hearted folk is quite rewarding.... as well as cooler ranch doritos.

It's hanging out with people. Friends. Socializing. People socialize in different ways. Some at parties, some at school, some at lan parties.

Well I'll take the clearisil (i have the habit of touching my face a lot, which gives me a few unsightly zits), but you better play something (anything) other than DMB if you want to consider that a party in any shape or form!! :D:p

You are having your prom in Sept? isn't that early?

depends what kind of parties. I not a big party fan, but I don't mind them. what I do not understand is why people go to a party and get drunk. what is the point? They saying getting drunk is having a good time, but if you are drunk, can you really notice the good time? I'm sorry, but going to party, getting drunk, throwing up, and waking up with a head ache is not exactly up my ally.

It isn't. I don't like dances, but when I went to my prom last year, I really liked it. I had a great time:)
