Did anyone notice the massive number of Cameo appearances in that movie?

Charlton Heston
Linda Harrison
Kris Kristofferson

and there was that one brief scene where Leo(Marky) got a postcard from home... and there were quite a few famous actors and actresses in that brief 10 second scene.. anyone else catch any other cameos?

I didn't really consider Kris Kristofferson a cameo because his named appeared in the opening credits, so you knew he was going to be there.

But, according the IMDB, Rick Baker, the films makeup artist, appeared as an ape.

Maybe, but I loved it because I was the only one sitting around me that got it. There were a few others that did because there was scattered laughter, but when my gf asked me what was funny I told her, and I heard oh all around me.
