Steve Martin is washed up. I remember seeing an interview with him like 6 years ago or something with him going on and on about his integrity and how he was going to be extremely careful about which roles he took up... now he's in every other lame ass "OMFG A BILLION KIDS WHAT DO I DO!?!" comedy.

That said, I'll probably rent The Pink Panther when it's out on video.

NOBODY can pull off Peter Sellers, nobody.....and Inspector Clouseau is Peter Sellers. That being said I will see this only because I am a huge Peter Sellers fan and it will be interesting to see modern day Hollywood destroy one of the funniest comedy characters of the 20th century. Too bad Hollywood is devoid of talent these days and are capable of nothing but crappy remakes.

I was a huge fan of the original series too, epsecially A Shot in the Dark. That movie was a classic in so many ways.

The trailers sucked. I like Steve Martin but he doesn't do justice to Clouseau's character. Seems more like overacting rather than funny.

Unfortunately the humor is so subtle at times it would go right over the heads of most of today's audiences.

Has Steve Martin even been in a good movie in the last 10 years?

I might see it, but I expect it to be about as good as that Herbie remake. :(

I Love the Pink Panther Series of movies. Sellers had such a dry way of acting, it is so funny.

The best part of all of them is when he is trying to get in the castle. I think it was 'Return' or 'Revenge', can't remember which off the top of my head.

I just wish they would have change the movie title or put a number after it. :p I don't want that crap confusing people with the original.
