lets say you can make the ultimate U2 album.. what tracks would you add? add your one song, and the next person adds their one song.. etc.. etc.. lets see if we can make the ultimate album from 20 songs.

i'll go first.

There could never be one...

I have heard enough good songs of theirs to count on one hand.

Correct me if I'm wrong but they released a 2-CD set of U2's "Greatest Hits of the 80s-90s" which includes a lot if not all of the songs mentioned in here

LOL, I've already burned this one...though I don't have any good live tracks (never bought the live CDs)

The only song I can think of that I don't see already is "I Will Follow"

Where the Streets Have no Name is my absolute favorite.

I believe in a couple of years, I might think that some of the tracks from the ATYCLB cd should be on there. At the moment, though, it's hard to tell if I will still be listening to that CD like it's one of their classics (although I still love it now).

Edit:

Correct me if I'm wrong but they released a 2-CD set of U2's "Greatest Hits of the 80s-90s" which includes a lot if not all of the songs mentioned in here

It doesn't include a lot of their really early stuff, nor does it include "One" and "Mysterious Ways" (I own the CD set) :D
