The perfect gamer computer

Looking to build or possibly upgrade to the ultimate gamer computer. (Fastest, best graphics, sound)
Id also like to employ a projector in addition to a monitor so I'm thinking I will need dual graphics card or a single with multi outputs?

All your suggests are greatly appreciated and thanks for reading!

do some research before posting such a broad question. use the search function, come up with at least some type of game plan, post it and others will comment on it.

welcome to the forums.

Is there a budget in mind for this machine, you could spend $1000 and have a pretty nice machine for gaming or you can spend upwards of $5000 easy.

I'm using a single card to output to my monitor and projector, but you'd probably be looking at an SLI setup.

I spent about $3000 on sound and I wouldn't call it anywhere near the best.

My projector was $1000 and it's nowhere near the best.

You're looking at serious $$$ if you want anything close to the best on video/audio.

So what's your budget, $10,000... $20,000 ? 😉

😱

bump on stangs55 if there is no budget. Not sure about display/sound, though.

ummm dual 30 inch apple cinema displays?
8gb of ram?
10 15k rpm hdd's?
sli 7800gtx?
extreme water cooling?
pc p&c 1000 watt psu?
some home theather sound?
x-fi elite?
fiber optic?

no budget=no limits 🙂

I can spend 200k if I try, so give us a better figure.
Cascade phase change CPU's, northbridge, videocards, chilled water hard drives, southbridge, case fans.
100+ 15k cheetas.
16x Dual core oppys.
64gb ram.
Massive SSD array.
Direct T3 connection.
Some kind of ridiculously expensive projector, plus wall of LCD's.
Some kind of insane speaker system.
ETC.

the op is an idiot and obvioulsly has no idea what he wants and probably doesn't even know how to build a machine, and i doubt he has a driver's license.

i like how he says "or upgrade to the ultimate gaming computer", but doesn't tell us what he has. what an a$$. sorry buddy, your emachines can't be upgraded much...😀
