The people with P4s...Did you scrape that pad off your heatsink before you installed it?

Just wondering because that is the first thing I did and quickly applied my ASII. My temps are very nice and I'm wondering how everyone else's temps look like. Any comments?

I also would like to know because I am waiting for my MB to try my first Assembly. bump

I took it off and then removed the remnants with 100% Isopropyl Alcohol. I then applied AS II and my Igloo 4300. Currently (this varies a bit) my idle temps are 26-28 and under load I get up to about ~41-42
