I don't remember if Garnett actually swung an elbow into Peeler or if he just lowered a shoulder into him, but its pretty straightforward Peeler deserved the 2 games.

he swung an elbow into the chest of peeler.

Completely disagree. You a Kings fan?

you completely disagree that KG swung an elbow into peeler? I agree peeler getting suspended for 1 game but KG should also be suspended for one game for doing the same thing. You know for a FACT that if were someone say, hassell, then they would've BOTH got suspended. But the fact that KG is the league's MVP he gets some sort of special treatment.
That's why KG is nicknamed the "BIG TICKET" and Peeler is a just a secondhand, washed up scrub... KG puts people in the seats, not Peeler.

I agree KG deserved a technical foul though.

I think he was T'd up because that exchange led to one tech free throw for the wolves and two for Peja. Thats when Peja missed 1 of 2 and then coach flip made the kings shoot the ft's over again because of the league rules which state that a substituting player cannot shoot the free throws. Thats when the Kings 12th man Jabari Smith came off the bench and dropped both fts cleanly and made flip look like an idiot.

funny stuff

ahhhh...that's right. You're right. lol...Flip got screwed on that deal. 😀

No it isn't special treatment. Peeler swung his elbow above the shoulders. That carries a one game suspension minimum. He got two because the league felt it was excessive (doesn't really matter for the twolves/kings series since there is only one game left).

I do completely disagree that KG swung an elbow. He leaned into him and shoulder checked him, then pushed him away using his elbow.

I don't believe if it was anyone but KG it would have been handled any differently.

watch the replay again, he SWUNG and elbow into peeler's chest if not throat. Either way the wolves are going to win.. the only chance Sac had was if KG was suspended.

meh. I still disagree. I've seen the replay a few dozen times. it's obvious we are going to disagree...lets leave it at that.

Between the PC police on the left and the bible-thumping neoconservatives on the right, our so-called freedom of speech has become a shadow of what the founding fathers intended. There is simply nothing wrong, IMO, with what he said. I would have chosen different words, but, umm, so what?

dude, politics and news is one link down, you musta missed it.

😀

go kings!

Garnett has been at the center of controversy a few times this postseason. In the first round against Denver, Nuggets forward Francisco Elson called Garnett ``gay'' for hitting him in the groin during a game.

Yes garnett may have swung his arm/elbo into peeler's chest, but are we forgetting that peeler put KG on the floor with an elbo 30 seconds before. That 'elbo' that KG delivered was just a little bump telling peeler to back off.

KG did get T'd, he should have, he got fined, he should have. KG did nothing deserving of a suspension, and Peeler did, both with the agressive elbo/hit that took KG down and especially the one above the shoulders (automatic). Neither oned did anything real commendable there.

I bet Peeler can kick Garnett's ass. Thats why KG didn't retaliate. You could see it in both their eyes.

Anyways, both should have been kicked out of the game, and no suspensions or fines.
