So it shipped from China....big deal...that's where they manufacture a lot of their apple products?

Or are you referring to how it went to Indiana first and then back to CA? My guess is that in Indiana is a central hub for Fedex which a lot of packages get routed to, then its sorted from there.

So again still...what's so roffles?
 
Did you get it engraved? If you did, it will most likely get shipped from Shanghai. If you ordered it through the education discount link, it will most likely ship out of Elk Grove, CA.

Yes, most of what comes in from Asian countries via fedex comes to Anchorage.

Indianapolis is a MAJOR sort hub in the US... despite the fact that it seems akward, sending it further away will get it to you faster, because it's going by plane rather than by truck from AK to IN, then from IN to CA.
