Go to your nearest Church.</STRONG>

Make sure you leave a donation too. so the church has money to buy more and extra's.

a $350,000 house was built 3 lots down from mine. I talked to the builder. HE said 3 catholic priests are going to be living here?? Man i should become a priest,

Man the church is loaded. Kinda reminds me of the movie and bible when Jesus didnt like the money in the church??

$350K? That would buy a 20 year-old townhouse in my neck of the woods. Not exactly living in the lap of luxury...

I'm personally waiting for some chocolate Jesus candies for Easter. Filled with raspberry, so he bleeds when you poke him with a toothpick. I have had the idea for a while, but this year it would be a great tie in to the movie. It would go great with that "nail" jewelry that they are selling to cash in on the movie's success.

Yeah, but not with "The Passion" logos all over the packaging. I was hoping maybe they would be a bit respectful of the subject matter when doing this movie and not try to market the heck out of it. This is a movie concerning the last days of a man who wasn't exactly crazy about the idea of money and religion being mixed together, with him casting out the money changers and all, so movie related merchandise kinda bothers me since it kind of undermines a lot of the orginal message of Christ. Of course it's not like various churches haven't been doing that for last couple of millenia anyway. But alas, that is a discussion for another time and place.

I wonder how many things they will offer for sale related to this movie......to make money. Also wondering how much popcorn, soda, candy, etc was purchased at the theaters showing this flick.....during the torture and execution

FreeBibleNow.com doesn't ship to CA :(

And I don't go to hotels often so I can't pick a bible anytime soon...

I'll try my church, if not i'll dish out my piggie.

Thanks.

A friendly tip: beware of newsmax.com. I mistakenly ordered two of the books (I didn't see the requirement that only one $.99 book offered per name/household). Well, they charged my account the same day, 2/29 for $8.93 (two books and shipping for two), and then today they emailed me that I could only get one book. Reputable online merchants only charge at the time they ship. Obviously, mine wasn't shipped, and now they want to charge me full retail for one of the books, $26!

I emailed them that I only wanted one of the books at $.99 and advised them that there is nowhere on their site to check the status of any orders (even though they send you a pass/user ID)! Also asked for a credit to my card for the difference between $.99 + $4.95 for one book versus the $8.93 for the two. We'll see what happens.

I'd very strongly recommend a pass on this offer. Now they have my card number and, basically, can charge whatever they want to my account. Fortunately, I have a card that will give you automatic credit for online purchases under $10 if you dispute the amount and tell why via email. But, they still have the card number and I can't even access my info on newsmax.com to change that card number to a virtual card (which I should have used in the first place).

The BBB BBB newsmax.com has no recent info on newsmax, so no news can be good but also can be bad. They don't show up on resellerratings.com.

Caveat emptor....
