That school gives me the creeps. I went to a Catholic primary and secondary school and we were offered a lot more freedom. And even so, I STILL found myself completely sheltered (but there are other reasons for that too). I'd be scared to know how my life would be if I actually had gone to that school.

i get the impression this place is like mega strict christianity? as in words from people like darwin, einstein etc are just not true.
my friends and i all believe science, but one of my friends sisters is a devout christian, and refuses to do anything that goes against the word of the bible, its fun watching him argue with her. she gets completely hammered everytime
it's a mix of both. For the ones that WANT to be pastors, it's perfect. But there are many students who are there against their choice, and they are the ones that become strippers/porno stars/felons
A guy I worked with over the summer went there. Apparently they dont allow locks on the dorm doors. Also he told me of a story of about 6 women having an orgy and getting expelled for it. He actualy seemed somewhat normal but I dont think I saw the real him. Whenever he described his college I got an upset stomach it was sad but it was fun when I got to explain my college (#10 party school in the US!!).
I'm a very hardcore devout christian/catholic.... but i'm also liberal. I believe there is a reason for everything written in the bible. However, I also beleive that many of the things written in the bible are stories to bring about a point. If taken literally, the bible is the more conttroversial book ever. If read with the right perspective in mind, it makes absolute sense from A-Z.
This is as always, my opinion. You are free to agree or disagree with it.
PS: It IS possible to believe in the bible, and in physics.

oh its not really that hard to understand - the same parents who make the decision to home school their kids out of fear want to continue the shelter and protect their fragile little minds through college, which as they know from snoop dog and mtv is just 4 years of wild, drunken debauchery. so you send them to someplace they will be babysat for 4 more years. some kids there like it b/c they like the safety of never having to question or think for themselves, some kids fall into a broad spectrum that spans from agreeing with the strictures to tolerating some parts b/c they agree with others, and some kids resent being forced there and bust their ass to party w/out getting caught.

Listen, you have admitted you "discriminate," and that you think racial stereotypes are a useful construct. You are unfathomably angry toward others, for reasons that I suspect are unclear even to you (though I have my theories). You seem to look down on a lot of people, particularly, in my observation, minorities who don't fit your concept of how minorities should act. The interpretation that makes the most sense to me is that you're a racist who's afraid to air that publicly.
