I've heard of a dump truck driver that had a gearbox problem when carrying a dump of mine rocks from the mine to the smelting facility. In the Christmas Eve. He found himself 5km from the smelter, on top of a hill, 15km from the mine (where his truck belonged). As he could only use the reverse gear, he started to go to the mine, fully loaded, reverse gear. Part of the way is thru some narrow roads, following a small river, on a road in some cases cut into hill sides.
