"The Others", anyone seen it?

I liked it..It's about the only movie of Kidman's that I liked other than Days of Thunder and Far and Away.

It's kind of weird though...fair warning
 
Looked strange so I didn't watch it. The purpose of it was supposed to be scary movie I believe, but the preview just made me go huh? How is "I AM your daughter" scary? 😕

Honestly, I don't remember that part of it.

It is the spooky mysterious scary movie versus the hack and slash no plot scary movie
 
I'm not really a big horror type fan, but this movie was awesome. I can't wait for the DVD to come out on this one 🙂

Some parts of it were confusing to me; I thought I had the movie/plot figured out but in the last minutes it takes a turn. I don't think it was scary until the ending, and once you see the movie you'll know what I'm talking about--it was kinda spooky.
 
Thanx for the reviews, I hadn't planned on watching it because it had a 6th sense rip-off formula vibe when I saw the trailer and I don't approve of that type of "jump on the wagon" film making(unless it's an NBGV flick) but you've convinced me it's worth a bag 'o popcorn and some Milk Duds 🙂
