The only way to drink Wild Turkey is on the rocks

Small Batch bourbons are great (Bookers, Bakers, Knobb Creek, Basil Hayden)

Bookers is VERY strong stuff, and Basil Hayden is a little more tame. All taste great, however, served neat, or with very little ice.

Woodford Reserve is also quite good, and for a cheaper, but still good whiskey, JD is always there.

Bushmills is the better Irish whiskey IMHO. Much more flavor than Jameson.

I still havnt found a canadian whiskey I like a whole lot (crown royal is OK, but way overpriced).

I dont like scotch a whole lot, so I dont have any opinions about good scotch.

Only amateurs drink whiskey "on the rocks." Ice tends to sharpen the flavor. Real men drink it neat.

At an average bar I'll drink makers, but at nicer bars I'll ask about their single malts. Glenlivet 12 is an old stand by.

Favorite - Either Knob Creek or Makers Mark. Woodford Reserve is some really good stuff too.

Favorite Canadian whiskey is Pendleton whiskey.

I am pretty much in the same boat. It is a good middle range whiskey.

I like Wild Turkey Rare Breed for those whiskey sipping occasions, good scotch is also a nice alternative but the really good ones are too $$ for me these days.

Jim Beam, Makers Mark, Knobs Creek... All great. But the best is still Crown.

Lots of ice... a little bit of water... Mmm...

No water in wiskey! Bad!

That's not true at all.

I usually prepare my whiskey "on the rock". I like a single ice cube with about 3 ounces of whiskey.
