Time for the new semester is coming up and all those holiday bills make it even more important to save a few bucks on new textbooks. This thread seemed pretty popular last semester and saved a lot of people money, so I think it's time to start it up again.

Since this forum does not allow coupon codes to be posted, it is best to keep all the codes on a separate site just as we did last time. Feel free to comment on which deals/coupons/sites saved you the most money, but please don't post any codes here.

Email us any deals you find on books at textbookdeals@hotmail.com.

See the deals at http://www.loot4free.com

The snow in the northeast has flooded the office with our servers, so keep posting the deals here for now until we can get loot4free.com back online...

I don't know about you guys, but I'm not buying books anymore for college! I've wasted hundreds of dollars in just 3 semesters because I never end up using the books. I'm mostly taking computer related classes, so It's not like its something I need to read about.

Save your money guys and only buy the books that you need to buy!

NEVER buy books before your classes start, many professors neither require nor use them.

AddAll.com is an excellent site to look for deals on books. Like pricewatch for books, but better since it looks up prices for you and also takes shipping and tax into consideration.
