The old Olevia 747i died, 4K alternatives ?

I've been expecting this over time, much as I always wanted a projector it really is not practical in my set up.

Was looking towards a sub $500 in the 50" range, I might try the TCL 4K UHD out.

Thoughts ?

The Sammy has HDR, which seems recommended, but for 4K being this early in its life not sure it is a qualifier as a necessity.

Was planning on cutting the cord myself, the built in Roku looks the way to go.

The TCL looks doable as a side screen for an extended monitor, would have it plugged into the AVR at any rate.

*edit* Hmm, just noticed it does not have DTS, so probably nixes the TCL.

The Sammy is starting to look good for features in the 50" range, I do not care about a curved screen.

But I was leaning towards a Roku set and the Hiatchi 55" didn't look bad.

Bought a Hitachi 39" for the bedroom awhile back, and have been pretty happy with it.

The 55" isn't HDR, but I do not plan on gaming on it.

I guess I'm talking to myself atm, and looking at things, sorry.

If it does not do DTS at least, I'll stick with the Sammy.
