OK i see a couple of things in the forums that i don't understand completely

What exactly is a troll?
What does IMHO mean?
What does pwned mean?
If you want to throw in your own i would like to know what they mean also.

Troll - In OT, one that goes around posting crap. in FS/T, one that steals/uses dishonest trading practices.
IMHO - In My Humble Opintion.
Pwned = 'Owned', dominated.

Troll version 1 - A spieces of creature which is very ugly, and often lives in a cave.Its passtimes include hiding under bridges and scaring cute little children and goats...They are very slow and very lazy, and very dirty and grosslike... but can be your friend if you enjoy their company and give them a banana as a sign of your friendship. A favourite name for the troll spieces is Candice, or Bob.

Troll version 2 - One who purposely and deliberately starts an argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by his or her peers. He will spark of such an argument via the use of ad hominem attacks (i.e. 'you're nothing but a fanboy' is a popular phrase) with no substance or relevence to back them up as well as straw man arguments, which he uses to simply avoid addressing the essence of the issue.

IMHO - "In My Honest Opinion" or "In My Humble Opinion"

pwned - An act of dominating an opponent. Originally dates back to the days of WarCraft, when a map designer mispelled "Own" as "Pwn". What was originally supose to be "player has been owned." was "player has been pwned".

Hey now! I was a Troll in EverQuest (hence my username, something I thought a Troll, a species which is none-too-bright, might name their offspring). I hereby petition for a big distinction in meanings of that word :laugh: 😛 😉
