I was thinking about recently about our XBLA games. If these same games come over to Windows 10, we should get it free on our Windows 10 machines, right? I mean for the stuff we already bought in XBLA, there's alot of good games on there.

Are you suggesting they should do that or are you saying that you heard a rumor about that somewhere? I have not read anything about that at all.

It would depend. If the developer never re-implements it as a Universal App, then no. I assume it's something that the devs control, not MS.

MS is having a decent sale on games. I just grabbed Forza 6 for $35 and got a $10 gift card in the cart 🙂. I'm not sure what other games qualify for the $10 though.

There have been some good deals, I'm debating getting one since I have friends that play Halo, and then Forza, Rare Replay (it does kinda make me chuckle how I want this new gen system to play the original Halo and Halo 2, Gears of War, Perfect Dark, and stuff like that; if only we'd get an HD remaster of Burnout 3 and Revenge, and Crimson Skies I'd be happy).

I'm actually debating getting the Elite bundle since I kinda want the controller (even though I don't think it's worth the asking price) and with the bundle it becomes a bit better deal (especially if it gets similar specials like all the other bundles, like Microsoft was giving a $60 gift card and a free/discounted game).

doubtful that burnout remakes will ever come out since criterion is no longer. burnout paradise was one of the best games of last gen, sad there won't be a new one.

noob question:
So I just bought my first nextgen console on Black Friday - it came bundled with the Gears of War Ultimate Edition. I've been out of the gaming loop for a few years now, is it even worth me putting up for sale online? Does anyone play that game?

It's a remake and already discounted. I picked it up for less than $20. One thing to consider, if you play the game before 12/31, you will be entitled to downloads of all Gears of War games when released.

I had considered the Gears of War Ultimate for $29, but I realized I'm probably just not going to even play it so I didn't get it. The bobbing makes me nausea in the older GoW games so no thanks.
