Personally just got a Macbook with 2.16 GHz processsor, 2 GB of ram and 160 GB drive. Need it for work and must run Access so I decided to Bootcamp it if me or any other user must run windows. I installed Parallels running the bootcamp's image virtually for when I just need a quick dip into windows. So far happy with the set up and the only limitation is I can not use the the suspend mode in Parallels as it could corrupt the bootcamp image.

It replaced a powerbook G4 with 17inch monitor. Major speed difference. Would have loved a Macbook pro but could not justify it for my needs.

Well, I *DID* own the machine in my signature until its PSU blew a few weeks ago. Sold the rest off for parts since the PSU was gonna cost several hundred.

Now I have no Mac. I had been wanting to snag the next Mini update but there are rumors everywhere that Apple has EOL'd the Mini completely.

*Sigh*

Ran a G4 tower (Quicksilver 867Mhz) for years until it crapped out on me about two years ago. I've been using a home-built PC rig until a couple of weeks ago, when I just got one of the new Macbook Pros:
C2D @2.4Ghz
2GB RAM
8600M GT (256MB VRAM)
15" LED monitor
blah blah... it's all stock
