OfficeMax has 6 outlet Surge Protectors (Belkin) brand....$5.00 with a $5.00 rebate...= FREE after rebate. Might be good for a BeoWulf if needed! :)

Although, not counting the rebate, WalMart has cheaper models (about $3.00 if memory serves me right).

Also free BELKIN (after $10.00 rebate) PCI 10/100 Network card! :)

(I got both above! :D)

Hey Engineer, remember the 128 MB of PC100 Kingston that OfficeMax had for $17.99 after rebate down there, and it was $50.00+ up here? Looks like they finally got word, so they have it for that price after rebate in this week's flyer.

My packet is on the way but it will take over a month, lol. It would have been 35$ for the 6-8 delivery so I had to take the 17$ 1 month delivery. And dont laugh when you eventually get the packet :).

Includes:
500Mhz Celly
BH-II
128 ram

I have it all on paper, I just need to get an appointment with her so she can translate all the measurements into her CAD software and release it to the fabricators.

I know you'll like what you see, so everyone please be patient. Once the first cabinet is finished, I may need to put another one on order. :Q :D

In a few months I will have around 200.00 a month designated to the Enterprise expansion. That should be almost one Mobo a month!! :D

Well, I finally got a reply. The person I am looking to buy stuff from has been socked in at work, and will hopefully have a list to me by this weekend of what he has.

We are getting very close. I have an appointment with the draftsman (actually a woman ;) ) who is almost completed with the CAD design of the shelves. She should have some pricing from me for either aluminum or regular sheet metal. (Aluminum will be more expensive, but lighter :) )

I need some input on how many motherboard I should support on the shelf. What do you think?

6?
12?
15?

Just depends on how far we want to go with this? If one cabinet gets full (we'll say 12 units) I can store another in my server room :) ) This third step is the simplest because they can create a enclosed or open cabinet around the shelves.

Still all the parts (donations) are seperated waiting for the blue prints to hit the fabricators. When a prototype is ready, I'll shoot a pic for everyone.

I have some spare parts laying around that I would be willing to donate:

-2 x 128MB PC100 ECC
-2 x XMB DIMMS (I'll test them tomorrow)
-1 x 145W PS
-1 x 200W PS (proprietary?)
-1 x 300W PS
-2 x Floppy drives (internal type, no face plates)
-1 x Celeron 466MHz (Maybe, can't find it right now)
-1 x PentiumII 200MHz w/MMX (Socket 7)
-1 x PentiumIII 500MHz (slot)

Let me know if any of this is useful, and if so where to send it.

You're right. First P2 w/MMX was 233. But the P2 was slower then the earlier processor at Quake at 320x 200x16;)

Wierd! with a faster cache & better FPU you would think the PII would be better! ,I know it is at SETI :) (which counts the most;))
